Pen and Ink trace of a map of china, and then reduced into lines and cubes. Modeled after Piet Mondrain's Neo-plasticism and "Composition with Red, Yellow and Blue" (1921). Originally inspired by Charles Spurgeon's "Wordless Book" and an interesting image from "China's Millions; China Inland Mission" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Open_Air_Preaching_WB.jpg Hudson Taylor effectively used Spurgeon's Wordless Book with the addition of green to do open air preaching in eastern Asia. 2008/12/04
