Michigan Nectarines (Acrylic 16x20" glossed final)

These are nectarines at the Division St market during the summer time, downtown Chicago. Farmers from Michigan bring seasonal items to sell on fold out tables. This painting is based on a picture I took with my camera. The selection was inspired by tracy's painting that she always wants to eat. Version summary: I added gloss, improved the blues on the table, extended the red nectarines in the upper left and put some gloss finish over it to make the colors come out right. 2006/12/10
